The Northwest Hospital Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center is dedicated to providing state of the art clinical wound care and hyperbaric medicine. With more than 18 years of experience, the Northwest Hospital Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center is one of the longest operating wound care centers in Western Washington. While the patient’s primary care provider maintains overall care for the patient, we treat the wound while providing a case management approach that optimizes the continuum of care. Three service lines are available, including outpatient, inpatient, and contracted nursing home wound consultations which provides continuity of care for the patient.
Any patient with a wound that has not started to heal in two weeks may be a candidate for treatment at the Northwest Hospital Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center. Indications for wound therapy may include:
- Diabetic ulcers
- Venous insufficiency
- Ischemic ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Collagen vascular disease
- Trauma wounds
- Surgical wounds
- Burns
- Neuropathic ulcers
- Other chronic, non-healing wounds
