The Sports Medicine Clinic, founded in 1963, was one of the first multidisciplinary sports medicine clinics in the country. Since its inception, The Sports Medicine Clinic has strived to provide the best comprehensive medical care under one roof.

The Sports Medicine Clinic brings a variety of medical specialties together to provide surgical and non-surgical treatments for muscle and joint problems, including sports-related or workplace injuries. Our team consists of primary care physicians, sports medicine physicians, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and podiatric surgeons with a full complement of physical therapists. We can successfully treat a long list of surgical and non-surgical conditions.

All of our sports medicine doctors begin by using non-surgical methods to asses musculoskeletal injuries. If surgery is necessary, orthopedic or podiatric surgery can be scheduled with one of our specialists. Afterwards, we will coordinate care with rehabilitation specialists, physical therapists, athletic trainers and your primary care doctor to assure that you can get back to your daily life and usual activities as quickly as possible.

Whether you come to us after an accident, injury, illness or surgery, our role in the recovery process is to help you regain strength and relieve pain so you can return to your daily and recreational activities.

Continuity of Care Policy

The physicians of The Sports Medicine Clinic are committed to providing their patients with the best care possible, and feel strongly that continuity of care is integral to the delivery of care. Continuity of care is the process by which the patient and the physician are cooperatively involved in ongoing healthcare management with the goal of high quality, cost-effective medical care.

Billing & Insurance

The Sports Medicine Clinic accepts Medicare and most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company to verify benefits prior to your visit, or contact us with any questions. Your insurance may require you to pay a co-payment at the time of your appointment. (This is typically noted on the front or back of your insurance card.)
