When Scheduling an Appointment
To schedule an appointment, please call 206-527-4177
When you make your appointment, let the scheduler know the nature of your health concerns. This is essential to allow our providers and staff to plan appropriately for your visit.
For patients being referred to Northwest Hospital Foot and Ankle Clinic, we make every effort to review your records and schedule you for any necessary tests prior to your new patient appointment with our physician. By doing so, we are able to ensure you have the best possible consult. If you have any questions about your referral, please do not hesitate to contact our front office.
We ask new patients to arrive 30 minutes early in order to complete our new patient forms and complete the registration process. Please bring a valid Washington state picture identification and insurance card; both are required at check-in.
If you are a current patient and have an urgent after hours issue that requires assistance from our on-call physician, please use our main number and follow the audio prompts to be connected with our answering service. The answering service will page the doctor who is on call. We encourage you to write down your concerns before calling so you don’t forget to tell us everything, and have your pharmacy name and number available. Please be aware we do not refill prescriptions in the evenings or over the weekend. We ask that you inform your physician two business prior to the weekend if you need a narcotic refill.
Canceling & Rescheduling Your Appointment
If you need to reschedule or must miss an appointment, please call us at least one business day before your appointment. Please note there may be a $50.00 service charge billed to your account for late cancellation or no-show.
Patients who are in need of hospitalization will be admitted to Northwest Hospital & Medical Center unless requested otherwise.
Labs and Other Tests
Billing for lab tests, pathology, ultrasounds, genetic testing, and specific hormone tests are billed separately from your office visit. Typically you will receive a bill from UW Medicine Northwest Hospital or UW Medical Center or other outside laboratories for tests mentioned above.
