Dr. Peter Billing, MD, FACS, FASMBS, has 20-years of experience in bariatric procedures, general surgery and hernia procedures.  He finished his general surgery training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota in 2000. While there, he spent two years as a clinical investigator researching novel treatments for diabetes. He is a nationally recognized bariatric surgeon, and he has been well published in regard to the safety and efficacy of sleeve gastrectomy in the outpatient setting. 

Dr. Billing has been the principal investigator of several clinical studies. He also has contributed scientifically with his collaborations with the Fred Hutch Cancer Center. His goal is to provide patients with a sustainable solution for weight loss using minimally invasive techniques and options within a multi-modality team approach.  He enjoys hiking, climbing, reading and spending time with his family of nine children and three grandchildren. Dr. Billing's practice Transform Weight Loss is based in Kirkland, WA.
