About Michi M. Shinohara
Michi Shinohara, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Dermatology Clinic at UWMC Roosevelt, co-director of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Clinic at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW assistant professor of Dermatology and Medicine.
Dr. Shinohara specializes in the care of patients with complex skin diseases. She believes in providing the most up-to-date and relevant information available to patients to engage them in their medical care, and to use evidence-based treatments whenever possible. She strives to be compassionate and accessible to patients, treating them as she expects her friends and family to be treated.
Dr. Shinohara earned her M.D. with honors from the UW. She is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Dermatopathology. Her clinical and research interests include medical dermatology, skin oncology, cutaneous T cell lymphoma, cutaneous B cell lymphoma, dermatopathology and clinical trials for cutaneous T cell lymphoma.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Shinohara enjoys running, weightlifting and spending time with her husband and son.
