Jason Hsu, M.D., is a board certified orthopedic surgeon at UWMC-Roosevelt and Northwest Primary and Specialty Care North Seattle and a UW assistant professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Hsu specializes in arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Hsu earned his M.D. at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. He has been published in multiple peer reviewed periodicals including the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, Arthroscopy, Journal of Orthopaedic Research and Journal of Biomechanics. His clinical and research interests include arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic and open procedures for shoulder instability, shoulder replacement surgery, clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction after rotator cuff surgery and shoulder replacement surgery.
