Patient Financial Services

At Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, we have a team dedicated to working with our patients to:

  • Interpret insurance coverage
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Notify the insurance company and obtain authorization for treatment
  • Investigate payment sources that might be available to you, such as Medicaid and charity care
  • Make payment arrangements

Bill Payment Options
For your convenience, we offer several options for settling your account:

Main Campus Drop-Off
Two secure drop boxes are available in the main hospital building for patients who choose to save postage and drop off payments in person. They are located next to the security desk in the main lobby, and on the second floor in a mail slot to the right of the Lab/Diagnostic Imaging check-in desk. Payments may be made in cash or by check. Please enclose the payment in an envelope before placing it in the drop box.
Patient Financial Services Drop-Off
You may also visit the Patient Financial Services office to make in-person payments, discuss your bill or to make payment arrangements. Patient Financial Services is located in the Northwest Outpatient Medical Center at 10330 Meridian Ave. N., Suite 260, Seattle, WA. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Account Information
Northwest Hospital patients can contact the Patient Financial Services Department to update or add insurance information. If you think you may have difficulty paying for medical services or paying an existing bill, contact the Patient Financial Services Department at 206-368-6440 or toll free 1-877-364-6440. We will evaluate your circumstances in strictest confidence to see if you might be eligible for financial assistance based on your income and family size.
