Northwest Hospital & Medical Center is pleased to assist you in receiving the care you need. We accept most insurance plans available in this area and many national plans as well, so it is very likely that the coverage you currently have is welcome at Northwest Hospital.

Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the total charges of the care and treatment you receive at Northwest Hospital. In most cases we will accept your assignment of insurance benefits and will send your hospital bill directly to the insurance company. We recommend that you contact your insurance company directly if you have not received an explanation of benefits (EOB) from them within 60 days of receiving a copy of your hospital bill. The EOB should identify covered services, insurance payment and any remaining patient responsibility.

Understanding your insurance benefits is very important. Becoming familiar with the terms and limits of your coverage will also help you better understand the hospital’s billing procedures and charges. Please check your insurance identification card for a network logo; often coverage is offered through a relationship with an affiliate plan.

If your plan is not listed, please contact your insurance provider directly to determine what type of coverage, if any, is available. Also, please be aware that, although we work with the insurance companies or networks listed below, we may not be covered under all the plans or products they offer.
