Patients choose Northwest Primary Care Lake Forest Park Clinic for our comprehensive range of services, our clinical expertise and our thoughtful, caring approach. Our providers specialize in many areas, including:

For primary care providers, helping prevent illness is just as important as treating it. Our practitioners focus on helping you stay well and build a healthy lifestyle so you can enjoy a longer, healthier life.

We recommend all of our patients schedule annual physical exams with their providers. An annual physical gives us the chance to check in with our patients, examine any changes in symptoms, lifestyle or overall health since their last visit, schedule necessary tests, screenings or immunizations and discuss any other health concerns our patients may have.

Annual exams typically include a check of vital signs, as well as heart, lung, head and neck, abdominal, neurological and dermatology exams. For women, we also often include Pap smears, breast and pelvic exams in their annual physicals and for men, a prostate evaluation.

At Lake Forest Park, we understand the unique health needs of women of all ages. Depending upon a woman’s phase of life, we offer care and counseling on gynecologic health, fertility and family planning, cardiac health, menopause, bone health, lifestyle, diet and fitness, and aging.

Proper medical care is essential to the healthy physical and mental development of a child, starting from birth, through childhood and the teens, and to adulthood. We provide comprehensive care for our youngest patients, and many of them grow up with us. Our services include well child exams, immunizations, school and sports physicals and coordination of care with other specialists if necessary.

We believe that with the proper monitoring and care, patients with chronic health conditions can still live long, happy and healthy lives. We help our patients manage a variety of chronic conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiac disease, lung disease and asthma and allergies, among others. We provide diet, medication management and frequently coordinate care and collaborate with multiple specialists, all of whom work with us to achieve optimal health and function for our patients.

While we do our best to keep you well, everyone gets ill from time to time.

If you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 911 immediately instead of calling our offices.

For less severe illnesses, our providers reserve time in their schedules each day for patients with immediate health issues. To make a same-day appointment, please call the clinic at 206.668.8272.

Remember, no health concern is trivial, and it’s usually more effective to treat an illness early, before it becomes more acute.

Osteopathic medicine emphasizes overall health and the relationship between the body’s nerves, muscles, bones, and organs. Doctors of osteopathy (DOs) base diagnosis and treatment on the idea that the body’s systems are interconnected. Instead of treating specific symptoms or illnesses, DOs regard and treat the body as an integrated whole. Osteopathic medicine focuses on disease prevention and health maintenance.

Like medical doctors (MDs), DOs must complete an internship and residency program after their basic medical education. DOs can prescribe medicine and do surgery.

Our clinic is affiliated with Northwest Hospital & Medical Center which has been widely recognized for clinical excellence, an outstanding patient safety record, and an easy-access, patient-friendly campus.

For patients who require lab tests or imaging services, we perform blood draws on-site and can help you schedule x-ray, CT and MRI tests at Northwest Hospital or an imaging center of your choice.
