Dr. Zsolt Argenyi is a pathologist and professor in the departments of pathology, medicine and dermatology, at the University of Washington; he also serves as the director of Dermatopathology. Dr. Argenyi graduated summa cum laude and received his M.D. degree from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, his residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the New England Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in dermatology at the University of Iowa and in dermatopathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Argenyi joined the UW faculty in 2001.
Patient Care Philosophy
As a physician, I am always willing to listen, to educate the patient and to treat the patient NOT only the disease.
Melanoma diagnosis and treatment, oncogenes, atypical nevi (moles), dermatoscopy and computerized image analysis.
Dr. Argenyi's research interests focus on melanocytic lesions, adnexal tumors and cutaneous soft tissue neoplasms.
