Dr. Tristan Osborn is a hospitalist at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Washington, where he studied vitamin K metabolism. He served as chief medical resident with the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Seattle.
Dr. Osborn is board certified in internal medicine.
Patient Care Philosophy
I enjoy working with patients and families during the intense and stressful time of admission to the hospital. I believe it is crucial for patients to understand their diagnoses and treatment plans, and as such I strive to maintain the highest degree of effective communication and patient education possible.
Critical care medicine, palliative care medicine; transfusion medicine; coagulation disorders.
Dr. Osborn's research interests include satisfaction with end-of-life care in the intensive care unit and basic science research in vitamin K metabolism.
