Patient Care Philosophy
I enjoy working with patients and families during the intense and stressful time of admission to the hospital. I believe it is crucial for patients to understand their diagnoses and treatment plans, and as such I strive to maintain the highest degree of effective communication and patient education possible.
My clinical interests include critical care medicine, palliative care medicine, transfusion medicine and coagulation disorders.
Dr. Osborn's research interests include satisfaction with end-of-life care in the intensive care unit and basic science research in vitamin K metabolism.
