Dr. Houston is board certified in Neurological Surgery, specializing in spine surgery. He has been in practice at Northwest Hospital and Medical center for 15 years, and has personally performed over four thousand spine surgeries at this location. Some common spinal conditions treated include cervical, thoracic and lumbar herniated discs, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, fracture, low back pain and sciatica. When patients have not responded to non-surgical care such as physical therapy and epidural steroid injections, Dr. Houston uses state of the art technology to surgically correct the problem.
Dr. Houston earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at U.C.L.A. He completed his Neurosurgical residency and spine fellowship at Emory University.
