Dr. Hook is an emergency physician at the UW Medicine - Northwest Hospital emergency department. Dr. Hook earned his B.S. in biological sciences from Stanford University. He received his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, OR and then completed a residency in emergency medicine at Stanford University Medical Center.

Patient Care Philosophy

I find emergency medicine to be interesting and exciting because of the wide range of patients and problems that I encounter in the emergency department.
