Kari Ranum is a board certified adult acute care nurse practitioner with a M.S.N. from the University of Washington. Kari brings over 23 years of expert clinical care in patients with complex cardiovascular disease, including 10 years as a cardiothoracic critical care R.N. and 4 years as an advanced registered nurse practitioner (A.R.N.P.) in cardiology/cardiac surgery.
At the Regional Heart Center, her role is paramount to the Multidisciplinary Heart Team for transcatheter valve therapies, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transcatheter mitral valve repair and transcatheter valve-in-valve replacement, spanning a wide variety of devices newly approved by the FDA and available only in groundbreaking clinical trials.
