James Miller Gordon, M.D., F.R.C.P.C., is a board-certified physician specializing in adult neurology and palliative care. Dr. Gordon has been providing care to patients since 1988. He is the recipient of the American Academy of Neurology Award for Creative Expression of Human Values in Neurology.
Dr. Gordon received his M.D. from Case Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio, and trained in neurology and internal medicine at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. After completing his training at McGill, Dr. Gordon was clinical instructor at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada.
Dr. Gordon’s clinical and teaching interests include neurology, palliative care, communication and bioethics.
Dr. Gordon is a clinical associate professor of neurology at the University of Washington, Seattle. He is also chair of the Ethics Committee of Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, Seattle.
