Dr. Waner works as a full-time hospitalist at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center. As a hospitalist, she works to serve the acute needs of patients requiring hospitalization for a broad range of internal medicine conditions. She takes great pride in having the opportunity to help and support patients and families navigate acute illness and new diagnoses.
Dr. Waner completed her Bachelor of Science and medical degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. While in the Raleigh/Durham area, she also completed a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina. Dr. Waner first came to the University of Washington as an intern and resident in internal medicine. During her residency, her peers and instructors awarded her the Evans Award, which honors trainees who most clearly reflect the qualities of warmth, understanding, and concern for the needs of others.
Dr. Waner is board certified in internal medicine.
