Patient Care Philosophy
I enjoy the full range of patient care and have enjoyed practicing medicine in a primary care setting in the hospital as well as overseas. I feel good communication between a doctor and the patient and their family is one of the most important aspects of good medical care. I recognize that a hospital stay can be a personal crisis for both patients and their families, and I appreciate the opportunity to provide guidance and support as well as medical expertise as we all navigate the medical difficulties.
My clinical interests include general internal medicine, hospital medicine, infectious disease, care of the elderly and palliative care.
