Adam A. Sassoon, M.D., M.S., is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint preservation, joint replacement and orthopedic trauma. His clinical efforts focus on revision and primary total joint replacement of the hip and knee, partial joint replacement, hip resurfacing, arthroscopy and preservation procedures and post-traumatic reconstruction.

Dr. Sassoon completed orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. While in residency, he completed a master's degree in biomedical science, was awarded the H.A. Peterson Award for scholarly writing, and was a finalist for the Patrick J. Kelly Research Award. Additionally, he was awarded three Mayo International Health Program Grants for his orthopedic outreach in Central America. Following residency, he completed an orthopedic traumatology fellowship at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida, and a hip and knee preservation, resurfacing and replacement fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
