Medical, dental and vision coverage is available to employees who work at least 24 hours per week. Part-time employees who work less than 24 hours a week may be eligible to purchase coverage.


Our medical plans offer a variety of healthcare options through the First Choice Health Network. Employees can choose from three different plans based on their own health needs and the needs of their eligible family members. In most plans, annual deductibles are waived for preventive care and prescription drugs.


Our plan, provided through Delta Dental of Washington, offers preventive, basic and major restorative coverage. In addition, employees have the option to purchase orthodontia coverage.


Available through the Vision Service Plan (VSP), employees can receive coverage for routine exams, prescription lenses and frames.

Healthcare Flexible Spending Account

This pre-tax opportunity allows employees to set aside money from their paychecks to help cover the cost of medical expenses such as co-pays, over-the-counter medications and deductibles.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

If you enroll in the tax-qualified CDHP, Northwest Hospital will contribute to your account and you may also contribute pre-tax dollars. Any funds you don’t use accumulate for the next year and will grow your account for future medical expenses.
